Water heaters in attic spaces get a little extra attention from us. When the unit fails up there, it's not just an inconvenience - it can mean water pouring through your ceiling and into your living space. That's a repair bill nobody wants.

We installed a Bradford White unit here, which is our go-to for good reason. It's manufactured in America, built for professional installation, and holds up well over time. This isn't a box-store unit. Bradford White sells through licensed plumbers only, which tells you something about the quality level we're working with.

Here's the part a lot of plumbers skip - we also installed a FloodStop automatic shutoff controller. It's mounted right there near the unit and wired into the water supply line. If it detects a leak, it shuts the water off automatically before the damage starts. For an attic install especially, that kind of protection is worth every penny.

We approach every job the same way we'd want it done in our own home. Clean connections, proper venting, and the right add-ons to protect the house long-term. The goal isn't just to get hot water running again. It's to make sure you don't have to call us back for a water damage emergency six months later.

If your water heater is making noise, running out of hot water faster than it used to, or just getting up there in age, it's worth getting ahead of it now rather than waiting for it to become a bigger problem.
